In 1984, during a period of despondency, a new personality emerged from Warwick Press. She had been threatening to surface for some months. Frieda Fitzenmeyer came into her own like a tidal wave. She is a force to be reckoned with - in short, she is German, she is powerful and she is silly. Yet she has a dark side, too. From time to time, Frieda collaborates with Warwick Press to bring her inimitable style to certain publications. If her energy and enthusiasm last, she intends to develop and contribute a lifelong series of work, Once Upon a Time books, which will have various texts with illustrations done by Carol. It should be noted that though Frieda writes the text, all of the design, illustration, printing and binding and plain slogging hard work are done by Carol. Frieda has better things to do.
