Morning Glory
Four Poems by Peter Fallon

Morning Glory is Peter Fallon's first publication since his acclaimed translation, The Georgics of Virgil (Gallery 2004, Oxford World's Classics, 2006). These new poems in Morning Glory record the 'quiet blessings' of company and solitude. Rich in careful attention and observant detail, they continue the celebration of moments and places
that distinguishes this Irish poet's work.

Peter Fallon is well versed in country life as he divides his time between running The Gallery Press, the leading publisher of Irish writing today, and a sheep farm in County Meath.
